Tax Fighter is a do-it-yourself tool. It helps you prepare and file your own property tax protest. It does not file for you or represent you.

Tax Fighter (texastaxfighter.com) is operated by CS Digital Media, LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("we", "us"). These terms are a binding agreement between you and CS Digital Media, LLC. By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use it.

1. What Tax Fighter is, and isn't

Tax Fighter looks up your home in Harris Central Appraisal District (HCAD) public records, compares it with similar homes, estimates what a protest might save, and gives you a filing guide, an evidence packet, a hearing script, calendar reminders and advice on settlement offers. You decide whether to protest, you file it yourself, and you present it yourself.

• We are not your agent. We do not file protests, sign forms, accept or reject offers, or appear at hearings for you.
• We are not a law firm, a lawyer, a registered property tax consultant, or an appraiser. Nothing on the site is legal, tax or appraisal advice, and using it does not create any attorney-client, consultant-client or agency relationship.
• We are not affiliated with HCAD, the Appraisal Review Board or any taxing unit.

2. Estimates, not promises

Values, comparables, savings, tax rates and odds come from HCAD's public records and our calculations. They can be incomplete, out of date or wrong, and past protest results don't predict yours. HCAD and the Appraisal Review Board decide your value. You are responsible for checking your notice, your deadlines and everything you file. Deadlines and procedures shown here are general; the dates on your own HCAD notice control.

The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

3. Price, payment and refunds

Free: looking up a home, your opening number, your savings estimate, the calendar files and email reminders.

Paid: the evidence packet, the filing walkthrough, the offer coach, hearing prep and the evidence-request letter. One purchase covers one HCAD account for one protest season (now the 2027 season). The price is shown before you pay: $49 through March 31, 2027, then $79. If you paid the $49 launch price, you can buy the 2028 season for the same home at $49.

It is a one-time charge, not a subscription. Nothing renews or charges you again. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card number.

All sales are final. We don't give refunds, including when HCAD or the Appraisal Review Board doesn't lower your value. You are paying for the tools, not for a result, and the price never depends on the outcome of your protest. If you were charged twice or charged by mistake, write to info@csdigitalmediallc.com and we'll reverse the extra charge.

Your access comes through a private link shown after you pay and printed on your Stripe receipt. Anyone with that link can open your paid pages, so keep it to yourself.

4. Reminders

If you give us your email for reminders, we use it only for reminders about the home you asked about and service notices. Reminders are a convenience: they may be late or not arrive, and missing a deadline is not our responsibility. You can stop them at any time.

5. What's ours, and what's public

HCAD's records are public. What Tax Fighter adds is ours: the comparables engine, the way we match and adjust homes, the case analysis, guides, scripts, letters, packet layouts, the site's text, design and software. You may print and use the pages and packet for your own property, or for a property you are legally authorized to protest, and share them with HCAD, the Appraisal Review Board and your own advisers.

6. What you may not do

• Use bots, scrapers, crawlers, scripts or other automated tools to look up homes or copy pages, or collect our results in bulk by any means.
• Get around our usage limits, including with many devices, IP addresses or proxies.
• Resell, republish or offer our results or analysis as a service, use them to run a protest or consulting business, build a competing product, or train an AI model.
• Use the site to protest a property you have no right to protest, or to file anything false.
• Interfere with the site or probe it for weaknesses.

Search engines and AI assistants that identify themselves and obey our robots.txt file may index our public pages. We limit how many homes any visitor can look up each day and may block access that breaks these terms. Bulk or professional use needs a separate written agreement: info@csdigitalmediallc.com.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, CS Digital Media, LLC and its owners, employees and contractors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for taxes, penalties, interest, lost savings or a protest outcome, arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of $50 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Your responsibility

You agree to defend and pay for claims, losses and costs (including reasonable attorneys' fees) brought against CS Digital Media, LLC arising from your misuse of the site or your breaking these terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved only in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas.

10. Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will post the new date below. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it. If part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. Questions: info@csdigitalmediallc.com.
